Just as many other local Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, North Center and Andersonville families do, local Lincoln Square mama Jenn selected Chicago Family Photographers Bubble+Spark to create artistic, natural family photos. For a busy family, the semi-annual mini sessions were a best choice.
About the family:
Jenn, Mike and their child live in the Lincoln Square area, so Winnemac Park was a best photo location to create a nice variety of images of their fun family.
Planning the clothing:
It was time to let their personality shine, so Jenn and Mike first let their kiddo decide what they wanted to wear and then (kind of) coordinated around that!
Favorite part of the session:
The Husbands family sure laughed a lot and noted that they felt very comfortable, more like they were hanging out rather than doing a formal photo shoot. Isn’t that the best?! We especially loved photographing them in an unstructured way that yielded natural photos that are sure to be keepsakes.
Feelings about a family session:
Since the family had done mini sessions before, they weren’t nervous. When the session was over they couldn’t believe it went by so quickly. Talk about the best afternoon right?
Advice to families before their Chicago family photo session:
Jenn reiterates the importance of just relaxing. She believes that if you are stressed or anxious your kids will sense it and they’ll be more stiff. We can’t agree more, just try to have fun with it and be your best self!
A family’s favorite photo:
Every family has a different family photo. Some love a shot of the whole group in a cuddle, others find photos of mom with the kids are super sweet since she often isn’t in the photo together. For the Husbands family, all the images of their kiddo were their faves. We are so glad we could create beautiful images that resonate with their family.
Using the family photos, and the reactions from friends and family:
The Husbands family is planning to use the photographs in their holiday card. Jenn posted a favorite photo of her amazing kiddo and was excited that it got over 240 likes on social media.
